Although sometimes the solution seems to be to move somewhere else, whether it be across town, across the continent or across an ocean, it won't fix you inside, because you can't run away from yourself.
We see things not as they are, but as we are
- H.M. Tomlinson
Moving won't change how you feel. Why would you be any happier standing on the street corner of Barcelona than standing on the street corner of Tenleytown? If we want to feel any different, we must change ourselves. Painting a wall a different color won't make the wall something else. You could paint it a hundred times, the wall would still be a wall. You would have to knock it down and rebuild it to change that. When you move somewhere else, you may be changing the scenery and perhaps for a time you would feel different, but ultimately, you would feel the same because what was inside of you didn't change.
